Moore County, with 130 square miles, is the second-smallest county in Tennessee, behind only Trousdale County. Its' county seat is Lynchburg. Lynchburg is a small town of 5,500 or so residents tucked away in the rolling hills of Moore County Tennessee. It might be small, but it's home to one LARGE industry - the Jack Daniels Distillery - which is the oldest registered distillery in the United States and averages over 250,000 visitors every year. Every ounce of Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey is produced here, fed by the pure, iron-free cave water springs nearby. But don't go there thirsty. You can't sample the product because the county is "dry".

We can now market your Facebook page across our network! Any business of any type is welcome. Read more...

We recommend exploring the following areas to plan your Tennessee vacation: Memphis, Nashville, Gatlinburg, Chattanooga and/or Knoxville.

In addition if you love outdoor adventure, especially whitewater rafting, you have to try the Ocoee River, home to the 1996 Summer Olympics. You'll find it in Polk County! Enjoy!
